Jacob left Sweden for travels in the far east after finishing school. When he returned some years later he took up studies in the field of photojournalism. Today he is freelancing from around the world. Most recently from Haiti documenting the earthquake-disaster and from Kenya where he documented the refugee-situation. At this moment Jacob lives in New York where apart from own projects he is working as assistant for James Nachtwey.
