Moa is educated in photojournalism at Nordens Fotoskola, and currently working on freelance basis in Stockholm. She is taking assignments from major newspapers and magazines and is also working on long-term projects in Sweden and abroad. What she likes the most is to visualize her journalistic subjects through an artistic or conceptual angle. Moa has twice been a Scanpix photo prize nominee, for "Trafficking" (2006) and "Watching you watch me" (2009). She is working voluntary as a picture editor for the Swedish magazine Re:public.
