Lack of HIV in Bangladesh a mystery

Poverty, drug use and a widespread sex industry, are all factors in the increasing level of HIV victims around the world. In Bangladesh all these factors are present, but statistic show that the number of HIV-infected people in the country is surprisingly low. Critics thinks that HIV will soon flourish in Bangladesh. Or worse, there is a big number of unknown cases already due to lack of good testing methods and test results. Did Bangladesh succeed to prevent the spreading of HIV? Or is an outbreak of the virus a nearby threat? Nobody really knows.
